I cleaned the fans and the heatsinks recently, and according to temperature readings of the components I'm running at 55°C (131°F) on the GPU and slightly cooler on the CPU. So I don't think its an overheat issue, not even overclocking my gear.
I have a 16GB pagefile on E drive, but I'll make one on the c drive (SSD). I'm not sure if it will help, my rig has 16GB of ram and I'm barely using 4GB, maybe 6GB when I run FFXIV and Chrome (which is a memory hog). I'll try the 4GB pagefile on C drive today and see if I can get across some content without crashing.I had a similar issue where my game would crash, and after increasing the Virtual Memory, the game is much more stable. It *shouldn't* be the case, I'll tell you that much, but it seems like this game has a difficult time flushing the cache on our graphics cards, which can lead to these crashing issues. Check this site out for the steps to increase your paging file on Win 7, and give it a shot to see. (I originally set mine to 8-16gb [8192 - 16384mb], depends on how much extra space you have on your drives. I believe 4-6gb [4096 - 6144mb] would be sufficient.)
I keep crashing too on dx9 and dx11, I'm trying to play the game on bordless window mode to see if that helps
I recently tried to increase the pagefile on my c drive and e drive, and ran into an issue, so I kept the extra pagefile on my e drive. It sounds like you already have it set up the way I had done mine. If anything, I would say to create a buffer, like, 16gb min and then set a maximum, but I'm leaning more that your issue isn't going to be solved with this method in the end since you already had that.I have a 16GB pagefile on E drive, but I'll make one on the c drive (SSD). Do you run anything else while the game is running? My main thought is Discord, or chat services, but there could be other things. If you run Discord, check what your ping is when you are connected to a service (When you're in a chat, it shows your connection status, and signal strength, click the "i" to find what exact pings you're getting. Again, I'm not confident this is the fix, but ever since I started using Discord, I've noticed lag issues to eventual disconnects, which I don't have when Discord is closed.
I do hope this works for you, although I have heard that it is usually more taxing to run a game in borderless windowed mode vs. fullscreen. I realize that's no help in the end, and I apologize while also wishing you luck!
My issue wasn't different enough to warrant a new thread so I hope it's alright we share the space. My problem is solved, but I wanted to provide some details:
Issue: Fullscreen mode yields three errors at random.
Error 1: crash with some message about XAudio2_7.dll
Error 2: launching the game into fullscreen mode results in a black screen unresponsive to any input and the client can't be force closed
Error 3: Much like EthanParcival's screenshot below:
The above three errors happen at random. Launching the game will result in one of the three listed above and I have no idea what prompts which error and for what reason.
Solution A: Play in windowed or borderless windowed mode
Solution B: Switch to Direct X 9 in the client settings (to play in fullscreen mode without issues)

Thank you for the suggestions everyone.
EthanParcival, Do you have any other programs running while playing the game? How about any overlays (like the Steam overlay, for example). If so, make sure those are disabled.
We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
It randomly crashes even with a clean boot with all startup software disabled and all non-microsoft services disabled. So it even crashes with steam off and discord off.
Not really sure what to try next.
Thank you for the update EthanParcival.
According to your Dxdiag, it looks like you have 3 monitors for your PC, correct? Have you tried with only one monitor?
Do you have any issues with any other games? Not necessarily this kind of crash, but graphical glitches or performance issues?
We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
Been having similar problems from today onwards.
I checked no new drivers or anything installed I do however have a discord overlay on.
I disabled this and logged back in got booted out after 5 seconds.
