    So looking over your numbers, I noticed the huge difference between your Doom Spike min/max. You have +/- 11.4% from your min/max midpoint. For every test i've done, I've found +/-8% to be the limit. I'm not too sure about this, but I think the Wild Hogs have a Defense buff that changes their Defense value. So I think your numbers might be off because of that. Not too sure though.

    Ah. I must do this again with more #s of Halberdiers; I want to know the cap on the Hart to know what accessories to use whilst I wait for my Ifrit Harpoon :3

    Hello, DrZ here. Long time listener, first time caller. I have noticed that a lot people are still choosing to put Crit Attk+ on their bodies over piety. Is piety the better option even when considering the forced crit ws damage and such. Thanks to any who respond.

    Kaeko and I did crit testing in patch 1.20. You can see the correlation between adding Crit Power materia and how much the damage from crits increases. One important thing to note is that unlike most other stats, Crit Power is a %increase in total crit damage. You would see the maximum benefit from stacking Crit Power when using attacks that deal high damage (such as Doomspike). So to answer your question, it depends on how much damage your WSs do to the enemy your fighting. If you're doing like 100-200 damage, you'd probably be better off just stacking STR/PIE instead of focusing on Crit Power. Or if you're comfortable with gear swapping, just gear swap crit gear before doing a Blindside Doomspike. The Crit Rate for high level mobs is really low (like 5-8%), so the odds of you landing any of your high damage WSs without Blindside is really low.

    was messing around with Ifrit.

    these are while tanking on WAR, 1 run each and i just took the value in the average box from the latest BG parser. the AA is all messed up cause i attack the nail close to ifrit but the rest of it should give a general idea. the AF vs. 3 is really weird - who knows what happened, maybe i didn't record it with food on/off. was using smoked raptor.

    Because (once again) I don't have the seals or weapons to test it, there is a theory floating around that DPS stat now affects caps instead of base damage. Comes from people doing = or greater damage on some of the new GC/Garuda weapons.

    Thoughts? ^^
