    SE - Increase PVP participation

    I enjoy PVP in this game much more than PVE be it feast or battlegrounds althought I prefer the latter. My issue is queue times are far too long in PVP and it is getting to a point where I don't feel enough reasonable adjustments are being made to combat this issue.
    When coming home from work the 'ideal' situation would be to log on and play a few games but this has become less possible or stagnant leading to boredom or less incentive to play the game which is sad because I genuinely enjoy the game.

    I think as a company you need to start encouraging participation in PVP more a few (subjective) suggestions; wolf marks need more diverse exchange options, introduce new gear useable both in PVE/PVP, diversity in frontline, allowing 2 range dps vs 2 range dps in feast to reduce queue times, new PVP spells/actions. Astragolos is already dead, you need to think long term not short term goals.

    They already put in pve rewards. They've removed just about every other suggestion you had.
    Morale is gone, the pvp stat on gear.
    PvP only actions were extremely condensed.
    The Feast is designed to be as balanced as possible (lol), so switching team compositions would lead to bad matchmaking.
    Astragolos is indeed dead, but the next Rival Wings mode will soon be upon us.

    They'll never look at long term goals, that isn't how this game is directed. They want 'pick up and play'. This is true for both pvp and pve.

    Far too condensed, matchmaking is already unbalanced I don't personally see an issue with 2 ranged (not double class) vs 2 other ranged similarily if it reduces queue times. In regards to gear it was seasonal, the gear needs to equate to PVE gear i'm not saying maximum ILVL possible but atleast an alternate set (not glamour) similar to 25man raid.

    PVP gear should go back to what it was when it had stats on it tbh since atleast then the gear was of more use and could help your ilvl as an alternative currency to tomes, Maybe add Materia and other useful items in the old "Materia vendor" at wolves den.

    I feel a change like this would help it out a little in general and add higher value to wolf marks but it's a difficult problem to deal with. The content needs to be made so it's long-term and isn't just a "get your mount and go" situation.

    It's sad to see Astragalos (Rival wings) be dead so early however It's clear that Seal rock is still alive and kicking - I'm pretty sure Yoshi P knows about this and will implement a new frontlines in similar style to that, Even after all this time that game-mode is still queued for and to a lesser extent shatter.

    Perhaps changing the frontline roulette to be highlighted as one of the frontlines for the week/day so that each game-mode gets a cycle of action?

    I feel like the only battleground that's actually focused on PvP is the one that you capture the bases that spawns and has to protect it. The other ones are just 3 teams hitting the same object (crystal or drones) and just ignoring each other, since what really makes you win is the amount of damage output on these objects.

    Wow, I have yet to try pvp in this, but that does sound really lame.

    Pvp used to be my favorite thing too before queue times got too long, rewards insufficient outside of limited seasonal ones, and crucially the role/job balance screwed up in v4.0 making matches less fun. Rise of the bots is also a major negative if you're on a datacenter where frontlines matches are almost entirely bots instead of actual players.

    Could really do with some pvp events where a certain mode is featured week by week with boosted rewards. Like Seize could be highlighted one week, Rival Wings the next and so forth, with goals to meet for the week to claim a choice of prizes such as 5x cracked cluster, 1x wolf collar, etc.

    If they want draw ones to pvp nerf the healers. When 3 people keep hitting them and they don't die and instant heal that really takes away any fun at all in the pvp. Give healers only regen and cure 1 and lower the mp they have. Also do something about the hackers and bots. then maybe pvp will draw people in and be fun again.

    If any of those 3 people is intelligent enough to stun/silence the healer to force CDs, then I think they are just stupid. Healers aren't immortal, you are just bad at burst/cc lol
