when i first learn there would be a seek item option on the bazzars i was exited, having the option of leaving your retainer seeking for an item while i went to sleep and waking up in the morning having the items i needed because someone had them and sold them to me made me go "kudos SE this is nice".... until i actually used its. setting the cap to the amount of a certain item you are seeking to the amount you have in your inventory is just ridiculous , if im seek ing for 12 tomatoes and i only have 1 tomato i would have to exponentially go back and foward on my retainer until i had 6 tomatoes to get the remaining 6 and then i finally have 12. also if some one has only 2 tomatoes and im seeking 12.. they cant sell me their 2 tomatoes cause it has to be exacly the number im seeking
I propose to SE a solution to make this more efficient, i know the seeking item is underused these days because its tedious long processes, so the way it should be is as follow
i am seeking ruby tomatoes and i currenlty have 1 ruby tomatoe, i put the tomatoe under seeking and then(now this is the important part), i get to choose how many i am seeking, lest say im seeking for 14 tomatoes. puff the seek is in my retainer/bazzar for 14 tomatoes. now when someone that is going to retainer/bazzar their tomatoes; before he puts them on his/her retainer for sale, check first for someone that is seeking for tomatoes on the ITEM SEARCH COUNTER( yes this is option is missing on the menu) and finds me.. looking for 14 tomatoes... but uh oh he only has 5. dont fret little tomato seller, with the new seeking system you can now give me thoes 5 tomatoes because after you sell me thoes 5 my seeking tomatoe count will drop from seeking 14 to now seeking for 9. this process is repeated until i get the count to 0.
doind this SE, will make seeking selling way more dynamic and fast. consider it pleeeeeease maybe its to late for 1.21 but 1.22 or 1.23..pleeeeease.
aslo what do you , the FFXIV community think about this.??
thank you for your time..
