So why is Warrior MT a better choice in O6s?

Noob question here. like the title says why is warrior MT better than a paladin MT In O6s?

More overall dps, as the warrior has a higher enmity + dps opener with unchained and doesn't lose a gcd swapping stances. Plus it allows the PLD to solo some mechanics and they're in a good spot for taking the last kiss with cooldowns.

Because they take ass loads of damage as OT compared to PLD or DRk

OT took more dmg in that fight and all of them are magical dmg.

For a simple reason (other than OT taking more damage and since it's magic based is better off as a PLD or DRK) : Other tanks invu don't require being chained to the boss to be used, so can be used on the shares. While for a warrior OT, it requires a healer to waste a cross skill for the grapple to take your ass to the share locations, which kinda goes against the original idea to leave healers (and everyone else actually) at peace on those shares.

Interesting point, didn't consider that. I've heard it can be survived with 4 ranged but haven't attempted it personally.

for group up stack we can let a MT paladin HG it with no problem so the only thing the warrior have to worry about is the last kiss, soooooooo idk i guess i'm just not bright enough to see the appeal of warrior MT.

My group had our PLD as MT do both the stack and kiss.
It was fine, we literally cleared the fight for first time in a single day. It's not overly complex, and gives room for different jobs doing different things. Overall I think that makes it a good fight.
