Level Sync needed ASAP!

I'm shocked Level Sync wasn't made a top priority along with the battle reforms.

For the sake of new players, returning players, and current players with classes below rank 40, get level sync into the game ASAP!

It is so discouraging when someone in LS says "anyone with a level 25-32 want to form a PT?" and all the replies are "sorry, nothing below level 40" "Would love to but everything is at 50"

Allow us to play with our fellow gamers!

I want to invite my friend to join XIV, but I know he'll be largely on his own til he hits level 40, or unless he gets PL's (but that not playing the game).

Level Sync in Ver 2.0 is too late. We needed this YESTERDAY!

This thread is to bring light the obvious disparity in level ranges. Which I'm sure SE is very well aware of.
Knowing that Level Sync is in fact making it's way into FFXIV ver 2.0 brings a feeling of hope for the future. My goal is to bring this to the forefront of SE's attention to let them know there is an eager player base that wants to be able to level with friends/family/or just plain new comers to the game. No matter what level range they are in. That we would like to be able to do this sooner rather than later.

If we must wait til ver 2.0 for this than so be it.

But I believe it would be in SE's best interests to allow us to temporarily adjust the level barrier that exists between all players. To foster a more supportive introduction to new or returning players. As well as promote a better server community.

why is lvl synch needed asap. first of there inst that much lower lvl content. second off they made xping so fat that there's no point in stopping to even do the lower lvl content. maybe they can have it eventually, but asap seems like a bit of an exaggeration.


if they wanna keep moogle and ifrit at lvl 50 when we get lvl cap to 60 something and lvl synch it i wouldn't care. i say lvl synch for old content only.

There is no need for level sync, just a need for a fresh playerbase. Once 2.0 comes out, if its popular, there will be no need for level syncing. I'd rather not bring all the easymode stuff from FFXI to FFXIV. The disparity in levels sucks but it doesnt take all that long to catch up.

Level syn +PL is busted
I level syn to a level 10 person, I have a pl with me, the pl one shots everything, getting 500+ exp each kill.

no need for level syn for that reason..... Also why would I join a level 10 party with half my combos and skills. Why would I join any level syn party when i'm 50. I would just get bored and start to pl them, because really, we know that will be faster and you don't have to RE LEVEL those levels.

If my brother starting playing this game today.... and there was level sync
I'd sync to his level and start killing Marmots...
after 5 marmots I'd be like F$%& this...
And jump on my 50.... he'd engage a level 8 MOB... I'd one shot it.. rinse and repeat....

Ahh... but thats not to say level sync would be ignored.....
By the time he got to Level 10, he'd find a level 1 to party and sync with.... and then its back to slaughtering Wharf rats and sewer moles....

ok.. so make it so the lowest you can sink to is 20.. then I'd PL him to 30, he'd find someone L20 to sync to.. get them to 30, find someone elses 20... and so on... Never having to fight ANYTHING that my level 50 can't 1 shot

so yea... bring on level sync.... so we, as a community can exploit the shit out of it

Your friend might also not want a PL, but might also want to fight with people around their level even when you aren't around.

Level sync should benefit new players more than experienced players, but experienced players should still have an incentive to bringing their level down to that of their companions.

I don't mean to belittle your point... but saying "not everyone would exploit the system in this way" is not really a good argument

If they decided that promethazine or codeine should be sold over the counter... i know many people that would take them responsibly and not abuse them. That DOES NOT make it a good idea
