I think I got side tracked into trying to sway opposing opinions to agree with my views of the possibilty of Level Sync in game sooner rather than 9 months from now.

Clearly no thought process is going to do that. (Thank you RemVye, reading your above post just made us all that much more stupid)

This thread is to bring light the obvious disparity in level ranges. Which I'm sure SE is very well aware of.
Knowing that Level Sync is in fact making it's way into FFXIV brings a feeling of hope for the future. My goal is to bring this to the forefront of SE's attention to let them know there is an eager player base that wants to be able to level with friends/family/or just plain new comers to the game. No matter what level range they are in. That we would like to be able to do this sooner rather than later.

If we must wait til ver 2.0 for this than so be it.

But I believe it would be in SE's best interests to allow us to temporarily adjust the level barrier that exists between all players. To foster a more supportive introduction to new or returning players. As well as promote a better server community.

And I think a good way to do that would be lower everyone's DoM/DoW to level 1 after 1.21 and let everyone learn again.

    </sarcasm>

Note: There's a very good chance more classes will happen. This will most likely happen before 2.0. This will fix your problems up til 2.0. Level sync will happen at 2.0

lol you caught me between edits, I changed the last paragraph for more clearity.

p.s. regarding your above post about my job levels. yes I have 2 lv 39 DOW and 1 lv 48 DOM to level before All my classes are at 50. My scenario was to reflect a what if situation where I was on my conj (48) with nothing actively going on, and I saw a shout in Uldah, that a party needed a healer for a lv 35 party. If I were able to sync to their level it's would mutually benefit both myself and the party for me to join.
But I'm sure you were aware of that.

You're welcome, but you were stupid to begin with. You failed to comprehend what I wrote in the first place and nothing will change that.

Level sync is coming in 2.0.

I really wish the reps would enforce this. It's been shown by the reps time and time again that if they have something to say, they'll necro thread themselves. Now stop being annoying.

Hey don't hate on me, I bumped that at 1:13 in the AM PST. By the time Meatdawg or who ever it was pointed the "necro bump" (why is a thread thats been active for the last 3 days all of a sudden become dead?) This thread was already at the bottom of the 2nd page and 12 hours after the fact.

As this seems to be a controversial issue with some of the player base. Shouldn't the topic been read by as many players as possible to provide their input, not burried under a pile of posts that belong under a different fourm section or just pure garbage?

so this here is a pointless post for the most part, but not simple, it bumps the topic all the same. Is it still annoying to you?

Seriously though--you bumped the thread before it was even off of the "New Posts" list for the Engrish forums. And no, it doesn't bother us when you say something that happens to bump a thread because you thought of something relevant to the thread. It bothers people when everyone's done discussing it and someone says "bump" for the sake of bumping.

Why would they? So you can say they are wrong, even if they are right?

    As many people allready said:

Didnt work in FFXI, not needed in FFXIV.

If you feel like you want it, thats your personal opinion. You simply should accept that people are pissed, because Threads like this made SE adding that Crappy Level-Sync again. You are saying PL'ing is worse than Level Sync. Well its simple.. PL-System is allready in the Game and tons of people dont like it and want the old way back. So it is worse yes.. but Level Sync is also worse.. Why replace a crappy System with a "new" crappy System?

You can say whatever you want.. Level Sync was, were and will be a System which will make People lazy and will take away any knowledge of how to play your Class, which you would get during a regular Experience-Grind-Party Curve. ( No.. not talking about PL ).
