Yes, I played CoH, didn't like the sync there. Didn't like or agree with it in EQ. Didn't like or agree with it in FFXI. and many many more MMOs I played.

Level Sync for partying is designed to be an optional, player activated, optimization which enables higher lvl players to help lower lvl players OR broaden the availability of potential party candidates in situations where said availability is lacking.

That entire statement is completely positive. It enhances gameplay for many player demographics.

So why are any of you opposing something that further enables positivity and social stimulation?

    Sounds counter productive.

If you don't personally like lvl sync, but know it doesn't harm you or isn't being forced on you, then don't post negative comments about it. That lowers its value when conceptually there wasn't anything "bad" about it.

*Seems like* everything is contested in these forums regardless I it's usefulessness or merit. (Key words are *seems like*)

Level sync dungeons like MMM in ffxi could work well. This would allow players to play together at different levels. But at the same time this type of level syncing would not allow exploiting in the open world play (like astral burn) as it would be restricted to that particular dungeon for a set time period.

Sweet..... you pressume to tell me I am not allowed to express my opinion because it effect your goals that I disagree with. All the while attempting to portay kindness.

I beleive level syncs are bad for the game and the players, bad to a point that it out weighs any "assumed social stimulation". You cannot prove it will add a posotive social stimuli in the first place. Your being counter productive to my goal of disallowing it. Therefore you should delete your SE account and no longer share your opinion either.

Do not assume your perspective is right and everyone elses is wrong. Don't try to shove your fingure up my bum behind my back while you give me a hug from the front. Your either being an arse or your not. Demanding politely and adding hugs, does not make you any less of an arse for demanding I do not post because it sets against your agenda.

    Nice try though

Sorry to break it to you, there are no "Zones" for someone to start in. What you have is copy pasted areas on the same map. Going from 1-50 any any of those areas is the same no matter what part of the map you're on. The only difference in the monsters have a different number next to their name.

I know it's not going to change your mind, and you're not going to change mine. This thread will stay on the top page for as long as i can keep it there .

People always bring up Astral burn parties despite the fact that there isn't even a SMN in FF14 yet. We have to hope that when SMN is implemented in 14 it will have uses aside from "overpowered damage usable every 2 hours" which was the only saving grace of SMN for a long time and the reason it was exploitable for Level Sync'ing in the first place.

Although I really don't think that will be a problem because this team most likely wouldn't do what the FF11 team did... that is, add a job before figuring out what the hell its role in a fight would be.
