My new Mantra:
Abolish PL, add Level Sync.

Thats a tough one... see power leveling is technically not a game mechanic....
Power leveling is a symptom... not the disease....
The new "claiming system" is what allowed players to power level
Under the old system... I claim a MOB... and if someone in my party kills another MOB after I claimed the first MOB... we wouldn't get exp or items. You could only claim one MOB at a time.
This was actually one of the few times that the entire community agreed... we all screamed at how unfair it was. We wanted to be able to claim more than one MOB.... It was glaringly bad in a leve or instance.... Why would you not be able to claim multiple MOBs in a leve when they are all technically your MOBs... it was idiotic, honestly
But at no point... not one point from launch to 1.19 did anyone ask to be able to attack a MOB that was already claimed by someone else.... But apparently that slipped in as a rider to the "Claim multiple MOBs bill"
To recap... NO ONE asked to be able to attack MOBs claimed by someone else... EVERYONE asked to be able to claim more than one MOB....
I don't know if it was miscommunication or just Yoshi's vision... But for power leveling to die... the claiming system would need to be drastically altered... AGAIN.....
But to your point... yes I'd like to see PL gone...
and with no PL.. I have no feelings for or against level sync...
WITH PL, I am highly against level sync
So i guess you can take that as me agreeing with you
