You are oblivious to the point we're making. No one's *EDIT: I'll only speak for myself.* I haven't been QQing about not being able to party in Bibiki Bay. The problem is that Level Sync caused the majority of parties consisting of members leveled anywhere from 20 to 60-70 to be in Qufm and Ronfaure [S]. There was rarely anyone in the jungles, crawler's nest, citadel, etc., after level sync. This is a thread about level sync. Not about ToAU.

If your server was different, enlighten us.

In my experience, 1 ToAU hotspot replaced 1 pre-ToAU hotspot. 1 Level sync camp replaced most zones up until merit level. Obviously there were still parties at other hotspots based on the availability of players, but they were few and far between.

There were a lot of parties in Ronfaure [S] and Qufim yes, but I can think of countless other areas I have used level sync in, i.e. the usual Dunes, right outside Jeuno on beetles, garliage citadel, crawlers' nest, etc. You are attempting to make it sound like all these parties consisted of was 70s going for the "easy exp", but the fact is for them to party in those areas they needed someone to sync down to, and a lot of time it was new players that, if not for the introduction of level sync, probably wouldn't have gotten a party at all.

    I agree.

But I think there were better ways to accommodate new/lower playrs. For example, allowing smaller groups to keep up with 8 person parties for xp gain. Level Sync just has a lot of negative consequences, including easy exp for some players, reduced use of non-optimal zones, forcing higher players to sync down due to availability when they don't want to, etc.
