That's the furture I see with level sync. I don't wanna level in a place I already leveled at if I should be leveling in a different area.........
For those people saying I wanna level up wiht my ls mates... Why don't you go out and meet new poeple and friends, level up with them...... gosh......... the game is already too quiet as it it.

Seriously, this is what level sync does. Why not just make everyone max level at character creation?

The best thing to do is create more classes. This will mean not everyone has everything lv. 50. With more classes you open up the option to lvl with LS mates because oh, chances are someone has a class around the level you are, so you can lvl with them. Level sync ruins xp partying, period.

Leveling is supposed to be a part of the game, looking for groups, supposed to be a party of the game. These things shouldn't be handed to you especially if you already have the option of solo leve's for xp.

No one is saying you have to.

High level players also want the opportunity to legitimately play with new players to help them enjoy the game.

Level sync allows there to be a sufficient motivation for both parties to come together via means of mutual benefit.

You are forgetting 2.0 will have more people + server merge that means more people to play with

2.0 will have level sync as well. It's already been confirmed for a while now. We're just campiagning for an early implementation.

No I'm not. Really I'm not. More people doesn't necessarily change a thing for the new player if all of those players who cross over in the merge are other high level players. Server mergers is not related to experienced players helping non experienced players.

I've already made this point in a large response to Mychael. I'll forgive you for not reading it as it is very long and hidden behind a spoiler tag, but the answer is a resounding no I'm not forgetting about 2.0 and server merges. And the benefits of level sync to a high level player do not apply to an influx of new players unless there is level sync.
