    The half way scrapping of cross-class was a bit lame to be honest.

    Not only because I actually quite liked it and thought it could be salvaged, but also because as I said, it only went half way. Crafting classes are still using the old system instead of role-skills.

    I agree, it could have been salvaged. Aesthetically, in a game where you can have one toon with levels in different jobs or classes, it's a MUST to have some sort of cross-class implementation.

    If not, I think a better half-way would have been ditching classes or jobs (like dump thaumaturg and conjuror) completely and to have just one gigantic pool of general abilities for everyone instead of "role traits for magical dps", "role traits for physical melee", etc., which in my opinion is kinda retarded.

    The way they have it now is too WoW-esque for my taste....
