Why can't I do anything while mounted?

I can get behind this one. I play on PS4, and I've been derping around with some of the F2P games as they release on console. Skyforge and TERA both let you interact with everything while mounted. Skyforge just kicks you off the mount as you interact with the object, whereas TERA let's you interact with NPCs while mounted and boots you off if you try to use items or any other action that can't be performed while mounted.


Then I get back to FFXIV... ride up to an NPC and press a button and wonder why I can't do the thing I'm trying to do.

Dex, Mind and Intellect Materia.

Because RMT. Also because it makes stripping an account possible by players who share the same account. Not that it doesn't stop people from doing either of these with some free-trial account, it just requires effort.

In WoW you can mail alts freely. I've never been mailed by, or heard a case of being mailed by, an RMT seller once in 7 years there. Stripping an account is rare and their customer service usually revert the damage within a day or two. There's no excuse tbh.

The same robe model/skeleton that clips through your feet while you're walking and through your hands while standing still. I'm not a huge clipping nitpicker, but I don't think being naked sans a single item should cause issues. Not to mention it's STILL BEING REUSED.

It feels like there are a million kinds of fish that you can catch, which is immersive, but useless! If you're going to give us that many fish, let us do something with them besides cook a select few.

Why do we need different raid tokens in each tier for specific item slots instead of just having a universal token for each tier and just have different quantities?

Why not make nearly all clothing items unisex. If people want to play as Dr. Frank-N-Furter let them.

Why cant we mail things between our own characters and have all characters on an account on the same world automatically share access to a house if the player has purchased one?

Why was Honeybooboo allowed to become a thing in the first place?

Why do the egi still not directly obey even if we have them on obey? As far as I know I need to cast that one egi skill before I cast my Dots but its so annoying since the Egi takes such a long time to do as I say..isnt there a way to overwrite commands? So that they truly obey our commands when we click on them?

(Also why is the 1000 character limit still a thing?)
