To this day, BLM is shite in PvE. Pure shite. Great in dungeons, but solo questing... forget it. I switch to WAR, complete the quest and then turn it in as BLM. Am I right guys?

No.

I've never had issues in single-target or even open-world leveling on BLM. It's been one of the easier DPS jobs in both regards.

This thread predate ShB release.. there's high probability the people talking here have changed their mind since, so why digging this up?

Nope. BLM is super easy to play in the field. The only sadness is never being able to complete a full rotation cycle because stuff dies about halfway through your astral fire phase.

If you get enough SpS it saves you from having to Fire I or Blizzard IV, though. Just end on Despair 5th cast, haha.

Having problems as BLM in the field?

Are you fighting 1 enemy? Make sure to use Manaward and if you do your rotation, it will die and you won't.

Multiple enemies? We still have Sleep for a reason. Use it.
