I hope it is taken serious and read upon as I have a large concern. I do apologize to those not agreeing or are rolling their eyes: As a new player, it pains me to experience that I am not able to enjoy a few content that I had been looking very forward to. Which right now: Alexander (norm)

I wish unsynced was limited p/day. I'm extremely bummed out I cannot experience my first Alex run. I truly, truly hope there comes a change into it. The option is there; you either do it the hard way or the easy way, but this also concludes that now, we have more than a handful content that has the reputation of "dead content" is this really what SE wanted?

Create a group through the cross world party finder and make it as you want it. It can be synced as well as unsynced. There's no real stopping you from experiencing this content. I see groups forming for this stuff all the time. It's old content, but if you specifically say there's a bonus people will generally come running.

Strongly suggest you get an fc if you want to run old content. You cannot expect them to be run by randoms, years later. That is nothing short of ridiculous.

Really need an 8 man raid roulette for at least alex1-12 normal/omega normal 1-8+. The deltascape queue is bad now, too and it isn't even that old and it isn't avoidable like alexander is. (You are locked out of current sigma content without delta normal clears.)

Party finder is the way to go. You will get more people if its unsynced - but I see people doing synced content also.

I jump in on party finder groups all the time. (It's how I did all of Alexander.)

I understand your concern, it is a valid one. Sadly I think you are on to something with SE and how they seem to favor making throw away content, you do it when it is relevant or not at all.
There are no rewards and therefor no reason for long time players to do said content synced, this is something I find to be rather sad seeing as there is so much content that due to this is left as "dead content". Dungeons, trials and raids are all left to die once they are no longer relevant, for dungeons this is usually when they are out of the expert roulette, for trials it is the next patch or when most people have the mount, for raids it is the second the next tire hit... sad but true.

One way to perhaps help with this problem would be through a "help needed in old content" sort of thing, you get to chose if you want to help and in what content, on completion those helping could get a sort of currency that could be exchanged for glam, emotes, pets, mounts, or housing items.

This is an mmo. It's how they work. If you want to run ancient content, you need to find like minded people to do it with.

You should be glad it's even in duty finder. Go log into wow and try to do that. You can't, by the way. Old content gets removed entirely, forcing you to find it in world and run it alone, easily mowing down what used to be top tier raids.

It's disheartening to see such complaints when you've actually got more options than you think, you just need to actually treat it like you're playing with other human beings, rather than npc content slaves, who exist only so *you* get to do what *you* want.

Find a free company, make friends, and find people with the same goals. Mmos aren't meant to cater to anti social folk. You are going to have to interact.

I was already expecting the entire 'find party', etc. That was not my main issue. Of course I can grab a handful - but as some stated, old content has died down even as to help someone - or even to give them remotely some experience of how it is.
The point of the post has to do with the lack of experience. I could gather any amount unsynced - which I did now. Sadly, the group I found was more interested in receiving my first clear bonus rather than allowing me to even be present. They did not even give me enough time to SKIP the cutscenes, and, it was over before I was even there. [and this JUST happened]
Try look at it and step into new people's shoes - that's what I am asking. It's not the invention of duty/party finder that is the issue - it's amazingly done. It's what follows. Thank you for reply.

I mean, I can queue for LoA and it’ll pop in around 5-8 min on Aether and thats much older than Alex lol. The 2.0 alliance raids pop lightning quick thanks to the roulette. SE just needs to make an 8 man roulette.

Either Coils gets included, and everyone gets frustrated at raids that are nearly impossible to pug. Or, Coils gets excluded, cuing complaints and frustrations from newer players that they can't get those raids cleared like all the rest.

Raid roulette sounds nice, but it'll just turn out to be a headache no-win situation for devs, imo.
