Fantasia quest reward

you've been getting that free Fantasia on every character, ever since you've subscribed for 30 days. The fact that you're also able to obtain the Fantasia from the MSQ (on characters that haven't done it yet) is just a cherry on top.

Older players got a free Fantasia potion as part of their veteran rewards (reward for 30 day subscription).
That potion is now instead a quest reward for "The Ultimate Weapon" after the veteran rewards were revamped some time ago.


When a character was created does not matter. Those characters who finish "The Ultimate Weapon" after the veteran rewards revamp went into effect will get a Fantasia potion as a quest reward.

It is my inquiry to see if it is at all possible to obtain 1 extra Fantasia for all characters who otherwise missed out on this reward due to playing the game since release. I find it quite unfortunate that older players are missing out on such precious rewards, when they have been since long standing patrons to this game.

Like MistakeNot already pointed out, your "extra Fantasia" already applies to your account, as it is already flagged for the old 30 days veteran reward. When SE made changes to the veteran rewards, they moved the Fantasia to the last quest of the 2.0 MSQ, so new players would still be able to obtain a free one.

You're hardly 'missing out', since you've been getting that free Fantasia on every character, ever since you've subscribed for 30 days. The fact that you're also able to obtain the Fantasia from the MSQ (on characters that haven't done it yet) is just a cherry on top.

(Also, while I'm just nitpicking here, 'some time after release' is actually over 4 years after release, as the veteran reward change happened in 4.1)

Oh ok, this part about “obtaining additional” makes sense.

So yes I am obtaining an extra due to the double rewards.

Thank you for clarifying. I had no idea why it was changed. So longer players are in fact being rewarded twice.
