Whole game re-download problem return

A little update on my situation. The horrible patch is still downloading. This is completely unacceptable. Due to varying internet activity the download can end any time between 11PM EST to 3AM of the following day. That is over 12 hours of download!

To anyone that has this issue, make a mess of noise here in the forums, don’t turn off the FFXIV application and put your PlayStations to sleep mode while the fiery logo is on screen.

Same problem here!
For some reason the PS4 client wanted me to download a 26147.70 MB patch named ffxiv-H2017.06.06.0000.0001
I previously logged out and turn off PS4 just to find this situation few hours later.
Already happened this same week's Wednesday with same specifics.
Doing some research I found out that this very exact problem had already happened at Stormblood expansion's release causing trouble and annoyance to many people . Please work on a solution to fix it thx.

Yes, this was an issue during the Stormblood launch. A PSN update was released that solved the issue for a lot of players, but it has come up since then.

Unfortunately, it will require that you redownload the game.

I'd like to get some more information regarding you issue:

-How was the game and system shut down before this error came up? Was there any crash or disconnection?
-Did you put your PS4 in sleep mode at any point before this issue occurred?
-Was any other game/app installed on the PS4 between the last time you played and when the error occurred?

Logged off my character,then closed FF14 and lastly turn off PS4 . When PS4 turned on again I opened FF14 to login and after I input my password and click game automatically started download those 26GB. This happened both times this week. No sleep mode or crash happened.
Occured Wednesday 04/04/2018 and again today 09/04/2018.
