    Oddities That Becomes Second Nature

I was just reminded this recently, from a fellow player starting to parley.

Why does the option to parley with an NPC require you to go to the main menu to interact with that NPC? Why is it not inside the chat dialog pop up options when talking to the NPC?

It's become second nature for me now to head to the main menu always when trying to interact with objects, since in the original design there were very little pop up windows (E.G. Remember the Aetherytes). I hope they are keeping this in mind in later design of 2.0

Yeah I have that habit as well for the lifts and Aether. Why change it to full pops though? They should leave it as is, it works for both new and us old players.

    Yes, me too.

For Aetherites, for example, I find it much simpler to simply get close and open the main menu. When there are many other players, targeting with a game pad can sometimes be more difficult, so the main menu is a good friend.

Regardless, I am sure the new interface will be both practical and awesome for both game pad and mouse/keyboard users.
The micro menu is also nice for both, easily accessed regardless.

LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
