    Linking my Square Enix account to my Steam account

    Hi, I've been trying to link my Square Enix account to my Steam account but everytime I press the login button on the Steam login page after clicking link account in my Square Enix profile, all I get is Bad Gateway 502.
    I have the Stormblood expansion for FF XIV on my Square Enix account and I'm trying to link it to my steam account since it's on my steam account that I have my FF XIV + Heavensward.
    I've tried entering my code at the "Enter expansion registration code" button in Mogstation but it says invalid.

    Apologies if I'm misunderstanding, but are you saying you bought A Realm Reborn and Heavensward on Steam and then bought Stormblood NOT on Steam?

    Sorry, but that won't work. With the PC platform you have to get them all on Steam or all not on Steam. You can't mix and match.

    I'm a little confused. You said that Stormblood was on your Square Enix account and you are trying to connect it to Steam? What do you mean by this? Where did you purchase the game from? If Stormblood is already on the account, then inputting the code again would result in an invalid code as you already have it.

    Just as Worldofneil stated, you cannot mix and match the Steam and non-Steam versions. If that is what you are trying to do then it will unfortunately not work.
