    error i2501 on crysta and steam

    Hi! I came back to play when the Free Login campaign hit and felt the urge to go full time.

    So yesterday I purchased Steam Wallet funds to my wallet and received confirmation today that it was added to my account. However, at the time I tried to add the sub fee to Mogstation, it said something among the lines of "try again later" and that Mogstation would be on maintenance. Then, I tried again and it gave me this message:

    You cannot use this function.
    Please contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center for additional details.
    Error Code: i2501

    So I contacted support and they told me they were addressing this issue on the Lodestone and were looking after it, and suggested me that I try another payment method. Which I did, with no result, got the same error. Tried support again, and they told me to hold on until the issue was resolved and stated in the Lodestone news.

    Which I did. As soon as the news hit on the Lodestone, I tried again. All methods. Still getting errors.

    I don't know what to do anymore. Please help!

    We were experiencing issues with the Steam Wallet payment method on the Account Management site late last week. These issues have been resolved. If you are still experiencing problems when trying to purchase on the Mogstation using Steam Wallet, please contact the Square Enix Support Center.
