Housing questions: where does my stuff go?

I have over 500k gil so I have been thinking of buying an apartment or an FC room, but I have questions that I have not been able to find answers to. I sometimes need to take lengthy breaks from mmos.

I hear that you can lose your house if you are inactive, but I have not found what happens to your stuff. Only that if you relocate it goes into a storage room at the new place.

Do you ever lose an apartment if you don't log in for a while or if you sub goes inactive? If so is your stuff lost?

Same for an FC room?

What if you are removed from your FC? I've known many guild leaders to kick inactive players, which I totally understand, especially when number of members is limited.

FC room your fine as long as house or master does not boot you I would look up housing information on how it work. Many people don't read the information properly and later complain. SE does email as well so they give you a warning.

here is the basic link on how it works. However based on your breaks I would suggest more of an FC room. You can also search Housing in loadstone and check for updates if your thinking of buying a house or FC.

Apartments and FC rooms don't have an inactive timer, only owning houses do.
If you are removed from a FC, or your house us demolished, your stuff is held on by the housing merchant in the ward for about a month or so.

You can lose your FC room if your FC loses the house or if you are kicked out.

You don't have to worry about apartments since they don't have any auto-demolition system.
If you take long breaks buy an apartment first. This way you'll always have a place to call yours when you come back.

An Apartment a better way to go if you take long breaks. Costs more than a FC room but you'll never have to worry about losing it or your housing items.
