Community better than I thought

I just wanted to give a shout out to all the extremely helpful players I've seen in Erueka since I started this content. I've had the misfortune of playing with some real nasty people in dungeons, trials, ect. But eureka has made me realize that this represents a really small portion of the player base. The overwhelming majority of players (at least in Eureka) have been helpful/nice. I can die literally anywhere on the map and someone will come raise me, party members seek my low level ass out and offer there 2 person mount. Finding a group is effortless.

Say what you want about the Train and people being "parasites" In my experince the high levels are more than happy to help lower ones out and I apppreciate that.

The community for this game is pretty good from what I have seen so far; which is a nice change of pace from my prior experiences in other mmos.

I have to admit it makes me feel all flustered whenever someone's nice to me in there cause I'm not used to it, more used to going into roulette's with my fists up.

I have to say that I, too, have found the Eureka community generally very friendly and helpful. I started late due to the current season of PVP, so I'm currently only level 12 whilst everyone else is 20. I constantly get escorted everywhere, people will come to raise me from the other side of the map, and two seater mounts are always on offer. It's actually very surprising, and lovely.

I'm glad it's going well for you, I like it too. The last MMO I played was WoW and the community there was a disaster on wheels. There were good individuals of course, and I was in a small guild full of said individuals, but outside that safe population, as a whole it was an abomination. It makes me really grateful for the people that play this game. I had one of my best experiences in FF in a Eureka group a few days ago. Everyone was great in the group and we had a lot of laughs. If nothing else, I really appreciate that about this new content. ^_^

I'll do you one better, my first MMO was EVE Online and even years later I am still extremely hesitant to join guilds in other MMOs because of my experiences there.
