Level 36 Conjurer needs help

I am going thru all my Class quests to make to white mage. I am really stuck on the quest that involves some guy in the tavern that lost his Xanax, I mean he's depressed about a mask man he saw do something. I have no idea on what to do or go. He wanted some kind of mushroom soup which I bought, but he refused it.

Last night I spent a good hour trying to figure this one out.

I have tried that, but it always focus on the man in the tavern. I can't find this quest anywhere on the web. I am at work now so I don't have the name

Is this a main story quest? The one that you need to give a plate of lentils and chestnuts?
If so you need to /soothe him.

That is the one!! How do I sooth him? Am I supposed to find the masked man?

Or you can open the 'Emotes' listbox in the social menu.

I did't know it was the main quest. How do I get back on track with the conjurer quests. I have done a bunch of them already. I have no I dea how I got into the main quest line.
From a person from EOS, Tera, WoW this game seems to be the most complicated

You can open your journal (in the 'Duty' menu) to see the active quests. You will see a class/job icon in the quest name. If you want to see the quests that you already did you can click in the 'Complete' button and select 'Class & Job Quests'.

Class quests are always given at the Guild for your class by it's Guildmaster (for CNJ this is E-Sumi Yan in Stillglade Fane in Old Gridania). Class quests end at level 30, after which quests for it's Job upgrade replaces them. Either way, go back to the CNJ's Guild and speak to E-Sumi Yan and he should have a new quest for you.
