Like seriously. Why are people hating on the Fate train? Its literally people helping one another in leveling up. Why are people going elitist on this and calling lower leveled players parasites?

The mobs needed to spawn NMs can be killed while the NM is on cd and yet you see low levels hanging around high level NMs instead of prepping low level NMs for the next spawn. Why do you think that is?

Yet when someone calls out the level 20s sitting on their mounts while level 16-18s do all the leg work for Hazmat/Fafnir/Poly/Strider we are called toxic...why do you think that is?
Because all you get then is a low level fate, while train spawns fates at a much higher rate, while you pretty much miss all of them.
Why kill Darners (lvl 9 mob, lvl 4 fate) if that means I might miss a level 8 or 9 fate (yes, they die that fast).
Also that's how the train works.... you now how many people you need to spawn Rider/Gobbue while keeping all mobs on spawn CD? You need about 4.
Everyone else, most of the high level ones included, are unnecessary, still the whole train goes to those mid lvl night mobs.
Because when train is at Gobbue, and you wanna trigger Fafnir (higher) or Bears (lower) or even Rider (about the same) you prob wont get Gold on Gobbue.
Train gets your fates, you dont get train fates... who's leeching again?![]()

I'll take this one since I don't see it really addressed - Have you actually been inside Eureka? It's pretty dangerous in there. The safest place, hands down, is the train. You have people rolling along aggroing mobs that they can handle, plenty of others tossing out raises, and it's overall just the best way to get from A to B.
The content is getting top heavy now and that's a real problem as high level players forget what it was like to be low level and no longer want to put in the extra effort to help. It's starting to head downhill fast and that means that anyone who didn't jump on the 'train' at the start is going to be left behind and will have to STAY behind unless SE does some very drastic changes to how players can level in there.
Overall it was a nice idea that might have worked for the XI playerbase, because we were all conditioned to be cooperative out of necessity, but it doesn't work with this playerbase and the cross-server atmosphere of "I can be a jerk because who cares. Never gonna see them again."
I say this is the flaw of respawns of NMs, the reason why lower levels just stick with high levels is because at a point it's not worth the effort to spawn lower levels when the respawn time is the same for all the Bosses.
If SE reduced the respawn of 1-5 and 6-10 there would be more worth in lower levels spamming those 10 but because they all have a similar cooldown people gravitate to a single train.
Yep, this. When the train can clear nearly every NM in the spawn window, why go off on your own as a lowbie? You're missing out on thousands of XP per NM in areas you can't get to without the train and yours will wind up on cooldown anyway.I say this is the flaw of respawns of NMs, the reason why lower levels just stick with high levels is because at a point it's not worth the effort to spawn lower levels when the respawn time is the same for all the Bosses.

I can tell you why, most likely.
They are low level, no mount no teleportation in most cases. If high levels start a fate on other side of map. Just about every time no one will wait and just kill it. While they spawn something their level, they sometimes need to wait for help.
So easiest way to make sure you don't miss out is stick to the train.
Fix that and you fix the problem.
Because the high levels roll in and melt the fate they spawned in 30 seconds and the group that spawned it gets screwed out of their gold rating. And they lose out on participating in the higher level NM since they can't get there before the train melts that way. The only efficient way to level in Eureka is to have a single train and stay with it. But low levels do pitiful damage and can die in one hit, so they stay out of the action of fighting placeholders to assure they're there when the NM pops.
Because people get mad™ that people figured out the easiest way to level was just to stand near the high levels and afk.
Don't blame the player, blame the developer for making it absolute balls to level any other way.
