Jobs unlock at 30?

I'm confused, is this thread about you wanting SE to treat a core aspect of gameplay as a max lvl nm drop, or secretly another topic complaining about the lvling speed?

In any case, 30 makes sense. New players won't get to 30 in a day and a half, there still getting used to the game, how it plays, and not to mention there has been quite a bit of lvl 20-30 content added like joining GC that will slow them down and make jobs a nice accomplishment point. Not too mention atm the lowest instance is for 30s, which is the kind of thing jobs are designed for. That's cool that you're level 50 but the idea is that new ppl will enjoy the game too.

Well, thing about getting level 30 it takes like a day or day n a half. Doesn't take long at all.

That's because you have other class abilities you can cross-class with.

Played FFXI for a long time and played FFXIV since beta up until pry 3-4 months ago (planed on coming back when job content hit). After seeing all the improvements and my old LS being long but disbanded i decided to start fresh. Knowing what i am doing game progression wise and mechanic wise, if you follow the story line missions, grab some quests, Company quests, leves, level DoH, and DoL it takes far beyond a day and a half to reach any where near 30 in a DoW.

also when you say day and a half im assuming you mean 36 hours of gameplay about.

If i were to throw every other aspect of the game aside and rush a DoW to 30 your pry right i could do it, however i would foresee some financial problems in obtaining gear along the way while rushing 30 fresh.

I will say in a closing note im not one to rush, i have always been one to take a long time and enjoy the content and people i share it with. WoW and Diablo ruined rushing for me and created a very negative stigma for me.
