No....
What we need is new race-locked dances. If the first dance is too cute or not too cute the second dance should be the opposite or something like that.
Race locked almost anything is bad.

I love my elezen dance. It's so... unenthusiastic. Made all the more hilarious after my first dance quest in Ul'Dah, wherein the NPCs were utterly enthralled by my shuffling.

I'm not in favor of cultural appropriation.
Until BLU gets into this game, FFXIV will never been a success in my eyes.

You mean the au ra females. The guy's do a highly white guy don't know how to dance type of dance. I would love to have quests to do other race's dances. There are times where I just want to do the cat girl dance on my au ra because I just want to happily spin around like that.

It actually does - For example, only Miqo'te an Au Ra have tails, therefore any movements that require the tail would naturally be exclusive and other people not being able to do them makes sense. Similar goes for tail ornaments.
Considering how extremely homogenized our races are in terms of appearance, you'll just be hard pressed to name many examples of that. We don't have races with hooves or snouts that would require specific gear, nor something like undead that might take off their head and juggle with it. None of our races is able to breathe fire for a little lightshow emote either. There's very little that physically distinguishes the races and as such, race locks just plain don't make sense.
What does make some sense is that you'd first need to learn/earn it and I'd take that as inspiration to delve deeper into the lore of the races via sidequest lines that unlock the stuff in a similar way as we do with the Beast Tribes.

We need more racial stuff not less.
