    POTD bags

So im pretty new to ff14 and need some help.

So i leveled up quite a bit in POTD and have a ton of bags. I been selling the stuff on the AH.

Is there an easier way to sell stuff? Its taking forever to sell things 1 by 1 when I can only post 20 at a time per retainer.

Someone told me that people use the glamour stuff for a quest. What quest and is it worth doing?

They are probably talking about the weekly fashion report in the golden sauces when referencing the glamour items.

As far as selling things. If it stacks you can sell a bundle at once. Other than that each retainer you have can sell 20 items each. You are able to get 2 for free and can buy up to 8(?) more in the mog station store for a reoccuring monthly fee. IIRC it's 2 dollars a month extra.

Selling those items is pretty much supply and demand - if people dont want to buy certain things now, they wont. No way to really speed that up - most stuff from those bags isnt really relevant anymore or very specific, like all things that are used for glamour (the Coil-gear, for example). People will only buy those when they need them and that requires them making a glamour requiring that item - doesnt happen to often.

A few tips I can think of:

    1) If you get grade IV or even "useless" (read: light blue, because mainstat) V materia, you can turn 5 materia into a new one. You can do that after a quest in central Thanalan at Mutamix. The new materia might be better than the ones you turned in!
    2) Stack the things and sell them in bulk, if possible
    3) You can always check the vendor-price of items and see if you're not losing out to much if you dont sell it to another player on the market
    4) All gear with a colourful background, including therefor the coil-replica, can be turned in for seals at your GC - if the replicas dont sell for a lot to begin with, you can consider turning them in for seals and spending those on materials that might sell better
    5) ...extreme undercutting is always a possibility too...

I'd also advice you to be "smart" about what you're trying to sell - checking the sales history and seeing when that item sold last and wether or not trying to sell it is really worth could also help to remove some clutter from your sells-menu. For some items there simply will be almost no demand - in that case you can consider to just vendor them or throw them out, to make room in your retainers inventory!

I sincerely hope you're leveling a DPS, you miss out on learning so much by not doing dungeons as a tank or healer, even dps as you don't learn your tools as you burn through everything.

I'm gonna say no don't do this if you want to actually have space there. People normally don't want to buy 3 IV battle materia let alone 5 or 10. So yes you're selling more, but its being sold incredibly slowly.
If ya do i'm gonna end up making a buck offa ya by selling individually at a slightly lower price.
