How come I can't put my AF quest gear I got into my Glamour Dresser

Hello, I got my dragoon alt job to 50 and have 2 AF sets, one darker looking from quests that I can't use with my Glamour Dresser, and the other set from bag which I can but it's crappier color. Is there some way to put the darker set in the dresser or which dye do I use to make the other set look like it?

Try using the armoire instead. They should fit in there, and can be used in plates. With very few ecceptions, all gear will fit in one or the other but not both.

Also, if you do want to co-ordinate other gear pieces with the darker armour, the dye colour you want is "Abyssal Blue" (last colour on the blue tab, despite being more of a purple).

Yeah, that gear is a little weird. Basically, back in the day you only got the lower ilvl 50-55 gear from the quest, so it went in the armoire as it was a quest reward. The higher ilvl 90 gear was obtained via tomestones (and later via trading in antique drops from certain dungeons like Sastasha (hard)), so it's not a quest reward and thus gets treated like any other crafted/dropped gear (You can't re-obtain it from the calamity salvager, nor store it in the armoire).
