MSQ Skip, Fantasia Potion

Hey all!

Just recently got a friend back into playing the game, and he's purchased the ARR MSQ skip potion. We're wondering if he's able to claim the Fantasia Potion reward from The Ultimate Weapon quest(and how to do it)?
He has the mount that you get from the identification key, and any glamour gear related to the MSQ is purchasable though the Calamity Salvager, but we can't seem to figure out how to get the Fantasia.

Anyone have any idea?

You get it as a reward from the quest, the potion skips the quest, thus not getting it as a reward. There's no way to claim the Fantasia. If he really wants to use the MSQ skip, he should do all the quests up to The Ultimate Weapon then use the skip potion to to 3.0 MSQ / 4.0 MSQ, so he can get the Fantasia.

The unique fantasya potion I got was from the first veteran reward. I've never heard of such thing as fantadia potion from ultima msq reward.

It's a thing...I got one from vet rewards..and one for kicking ultima's butt.

I've done some research and: "As of Patch 4.1, Players can complete the Main Scenario Quest The Ultimate Weapon to recieve one. Players can no longer obtain a Fantasia through Veteran Rewards."

That's why I only one.

Skip potion says that you will gain ALL the rewards from MSQ, should surely include fantasia potion. But I think if OP used before 4.1 and did not receive as a vet reward, then its gone.

It doesn't.

The item listing in Mog Station says nothing about quest rewards. The boost guide lists everything you get: most dungeons, all aetherytes, all maps, all MSQ achievements, all MSQ titles, all MSQ mounts, all aethernets, the Dye action, help text, some chocobo feather gear tokens, and some vendor trash for gil.
