How to remove interior wall/fixtures in FC?

My FC is closing and I have to demolish my room, but I don’t really know how to remove the wallpaper and ceiling light. I’m afraid to demolish it without removing it since I did spend a lot of Gil on it and I want to use it again for a future room. How do I do this?

Your best bet is to go to the nearest housing NPC and buy the super cheap ones from them to replace what you have put up. Aside from that, I don't think there is another way.

The ones from NPC are 3-5k each I think, so not really going to break the bank, as the saying goes.

You're actually super lucky you have the option to replace and recover your fixtures. Up until just a short time ago there was absolutely no way to get those fixtures back.

Just buy the cheap ones from the housing merchant, and replace them. The fixtures you put up will be returned to your inventory.

As said above. Go to the housing npc, and buy a cheap 5k chandelier, a 5k carpet and a 5k wallpaper. Then go back to your FC room and switch them in your housing menu. The nice expensive pieces you wanted to keep will be in your inventory now, (still are binding), and you will leave the cheap crappy noc stuff in room. Then demolish it. Only cost you 15k gil
