Returning: When Do I Need Stormblood

Hey everyone. I'm returning to the game, and just wondering when Stormblood is necessary in my specific case. I have up to Stormblood on pc, but up to Heavesward on PS4. I want to play on PS4, and start a new character, but with Stormblood already activated on pc on my account, will I run in to any issues or problems? I'm assuming places like the new zone will be gated until I activate Stormblood for PS4 on my account, but what if I played a character that already has Samurai unlocked on the other side?

While playing on PS4, you will be able to enter HW zones and play up to the end of 3.56. At that point, to continue the story you will have to switch to PC or register Stormblood for PS4. If you play on PC and log out in a SB area or on an SB job, you can't log in on PS4 until you move to an ARR/HW area as a pre-SB job.

I'm not 100% sure about the next bit, but PS4 might cap you at 60, so practically speaking, you don't "need" SB immediately at 60 but you'll miss out on xp.

Thank you so much for the info. I couldn't find it spelled out like that anywhere. I'll start a new character on PS4 and upgrade to Stormblood there the next time it goes on sale!
