    Guide: How To Thaumaturge

    Thaumaturge:

The subject of Thaumaturge has been covered intensively by the world press over the past decade. Advancements in Thaumaturge can be linked to many areas. Indispensable to people today, several of today's most brilliant minds seem incapable of recognizing its increasing relevance to understanding future generations. Inevitably feelings run deep amongst the easily lead, trapped by their infamous history. Relax, sit back and gasp as I display the rich tapestries of Thaumaturge.

    Social Factors

Society is a human product. The immortal and indispensable phrase ‘honesty is the best policy’ [1] saw clearly into the human heart. While deviating from the norm will always cause unrest amongst ones peers, Thaumaturge is crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle.

Our post-literate society, more than ever before, relies upon Thaumaturge. It has been said that the one thing in society which could survive a nuclear attack is Thaumaturge. This is incorrect, actually cockroaches are the only thing which can survive a nuclear attack.

    Political Factors

Politics, we all agree, is a fact of life. Comparing Thaumaturge and much of what has been written of it can be like comparing the two sides of Thaumaturge.

We cannot talk of Thaumaturge and politics without remembering the words of style icon Noah T. Time 'Man's greatest enemy is complacency with regards to personal and political hygiene.' [2] Primarily, he is referring to Thaumaturge. Perhaps the word which sums up the importance of Thaumaturge to politics is 'participation'.
I wait anxiously. What will the next few years bring for Thaumaturge?

    Conclusion

How much responsibility lies with Thaumaturge? We can say that Thaumaturge plays a large part in the lives of all. It establishes order, invades where necessary and most importantly it perseveres.

I will leave you with the words of Hollywood's Clint Hanks: 'At first I was afraid I was petrified. Thinking I could never live without Thaumaturge by my side.'

    Equipment:

Let us commence a journey into the much travelled topic of Equipment. I find my self constantly drawn back to the subject of Equipment. While much has been written on its influence on contemporary living, it is important to remember that ‘what goes up must come down.’ Inevitably feelings run deep amongst socialists, who are likely to form a major stronghold in the inevitable battle for hearts and minds. In the light of this I will break down the issues in order to give each of them the thought that they fully deserve

    Social Factors

Society is our own everyday reality. Back when Vealinger remarked ‘the power struggle will continue while the great tale of humanity remains untold’ [1] he created a monster which society has been attempting to tame ever since. Spanning divides such as class, race and ugliness, Equipment is crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle.

Recent thought on Equipment has been a real eye-opener for society from young to old. If society has a favorite child, it is Equipment.

    Political Factors

Much of the writings of historians display the conquests of the most powerful nations over less powerful ones. Comparing current political thought with that held just ten years ago is like comparing the two, equally popular approaches to Equipment. If the reader is unaware of these, they need only to turn on the television, or pick up a newspaper or popular magazine.

We cannot talk of Equipment and politics without remembering the words of that most brilliant mind Elijah Woodpecker 'Man's greatest enemy is complacency with regards to personal and political hygiene.' [2] What a fantastic quote. Perhaps the word which sums up the importance of Equipment to politics is 'participation'.
Where do we go from here? Only time will tell.

    Conclusion

In summary, Equipment has played a large part in the development of man in the 20th Century and its influence remains strong. It establishes order, brought up a generation and it brings the best out in people.

I shall give the final word to star Christina Beckham: 'It's been nice educating you.' [3]

    Black Mage:

The subject of Black Mage is a controversial issue. I find my self constantly drawn back to the subject of Black Mage. While it has been acknowledged that it has an important part to play in the development of man, several of today's most brilliant minds seem incapable of recognizing its increasing relevance to understanding future generations. Inevitably Black Mage is often misunderstood by so called 'babies', who are likely to form a major stronghold in the inevitable battle for hearts and minds. Though I would rather be in bed I will now examine the primary causes of Black Mage.

    Social Factors

While some scholars have claimed that there is no such thing as society, this is rubbish. The immortal and indispensable phrase ‘honesty is the best policy’ [1] shed new light on Black Mage, allowing man to take it by the hand and understand its momentum. While the western world use a knife and fork, the Chinese use chopsticks. Of course Black Mage clearly plays a significant role amongst the developing middle classes.

Nothing represents every day life better than Black Mage, and I mean nothing. Society says that every man must find their own truth. While one sees Black Mage, another may see monkeys playing tennis.

    Political Factors

Politics - smolitics! Comparing the electoral politics of most Western and Eastern European countries is like comparing 0.

In the words of that most brilliant mind Bartholomew T. Time 'People in glass houses shouldn't throw parties.' [2] This clearly illustrates the primary concern of those involved with Black Mage. Perhaps the word which sums up the importance of Black Mage to politics is 'participation'.
The question which we must each ask ourselves is, will we allow Black Mage to win our vote?

    Conclusion

We can say with certainty Black Mage has played a large part in the development of man in the 20th Century and its influence remains strong. It collaborates successfully, 'literally' plants seeds for harvest, and is always fashionably late.

I will leave you with the words of Hollywood's Demi Spielberg: 'Oooh yeah Black Mage shoo badaby dooo.' [3]

    Regarding Resonance:

I've found two useful scenarios on Ifrit at least. The first is when you have an opportunity to heal, buff, or raise someone, but they aren't in range. As movement is restricted during the Ifrit fight, this can let you raise or emergency cure people very far away when it would be dangerous to move in close. The second case partially depends on your preferred style of avoiding Eruption. I tend to run to the side, away from the CNJ, and to the back so that the multiple Eruptions don't spread out to cover more of the arena. While waiting for them to go off I can toss up Resonance in addition to any other buffs and begin casting Thunder on the way back to wherever the THMs are standing.

I'm glad you decided to start this guide. Hopefully people will throw out great contributions!

If you're doing ifrit you're most likely level 50 right? you have a trait onto sanguine rite which adds def when used, so when ifrit pops spikes, make sure you're stoneskinned up, when ifrit jumps pop sanguine rite. You won't need sentinel, but if you could pop it , it would help, more def always helps there.

If you've earned it on CNJ (and you should!) Sang Rite + Sacred Prism is fantastic. Your tank will love you for it if he's in range.

I've gone through the Ifrit fight but not the moogle fight due to exams and a ls dying out, so if anyone would like to put up more of a what a thm should be doing during the moogle fight I'd love it and thank them a lot ^^ and I'm sure for future reference it'd be great. It'd be nice to see a "how to ____(insert class)" in every class thread, that way new players go "hey thats what i should do during this." I've been playing since Open Beta, and with class changes it's like I am a new player haha.

Also his -enmity is low on the list but I find this really important, you can put enmity minus on two slots brand and belt, I would recommend doing that, instead of the mp, since you can stack mp on many other things.

With -10 enmity, and my bf as a tank with +9 enmity I do not pull hate, while curing, while nuking, I also don't spam either, but from regular maging you can be 10-20% less careful with throwing out cures and such its nice.

In my experience, in a ARC-heavy party, it's easy; there's nothing hard to learn like avoiding Ifrit's Explosions. In the first stage, nuke the moogles as they appear; use lightning except on the GLA (Whiskerwall)--he's weak to fire. When they revive and start summoning the King Moogle, gather with the rest of the party, generally in the center of the arena, sacred prism + sanguine rite and sentinel for the incoming hit. After that, keep on the move (except when you need to regen) and away from the moogles and help the party beat them down in order (you can find the standard kill order in any Moogle strategy doc, or just beat on the one everybody else is beating on). Don't nuke a moogle when he's big--he's invulnerable then (that's a good time to regen). If your party doesn't have enough ARCs, you'll probably be asked to use Blizzara to bind the GLA at the beginning of the second stage. And watch out for the THF (Tailturner), he's got a move that steals a large amount of MP.

To clarify, Sentinel doesn't increase your defence. It gives you damage reduction, which is why it is so effective against Hellfire/Memento Moogle.
