distance between 65 ndoes in ruby sea for botany

    hi all,

while gathering in ruby sea as in title, gathering from 65 nodes and on botany, i noticed sometimes the distance between the nodes is upto 200 yalms.

I am wondering is that a standard thing for nodes added in stormblood? i gathered in HW and ARR and it was never this bad.

hoping when i geto to higher nodes, i won't have this issue in every place. granted the travel speed is pretty high but it's still very far between the nodes.

Get used to hopping onto your mount (you have gotten far enough in MSQ for flight to be unlocked there, right?) between nodes ...

Or do what I do, and gather items once, and then just send retainers at them.

Most of the node pairs in SB for both Mining and Botany are a good distance from each other, too far to walk/run efficiently at least. As stated before, get used to mounting in between pairs.

Yep sounds about right, Ruby seal also has a fairy transfer NPC from one side to other as well.

Yep, they're pretty far, but the first thing I do if I plan on farming for some time in a certain area is to drop Waymarks, found under Party, near (but not on) the 3 different sets of nodes. Speeds things up when you know right where they are.

Yes, as everyone said, drop a mount on your hotbar in an easily-accessible spot and get used to pressing it right after you finish gathering. Waymarks are also a nice idea, gonna nick that.
