    Next Eureka installment - please vastly reduce NM xp.

    I really think that's the best way to keep it working more as intended - chain xp parties - rather than the fate train. Keep the other rewards the same, so folks still do them even when they over level them (it will make sense to go to an nm you see pop and do it) like it was day 1/2.

    I feel like this is the best solution as changing tags to party only will cause issues, and already folks with mounts beat out folks without them that need the xp. If they don't give much xp (or any) then only those who want the drops will race to do them.

    This from the perspective of someone who's opened over 6k lockboxes, has 4 sets, still has 3k anemos crystals and almost 60 paz feathers.

    If the alternatives for exp are similar to what we've got in this installment (trash exp from trash mobs, and that's it), then I cannot stand behind this recommendation. If you're gonna nerf this, something else has to be appropriately buffed to compensate.

    If it gets me content that I actually feel encouraged to engage in and play then it'd be an improvement. I feel like the way Eureka is designed you're basically not allowed to play, only leech, for several levels. if I wanted to afk and watch Netflix I'd log off. Simple as that.

    I actually enjoyed the chain killing for EXP, I did it at several points while I was leveling, especially later levels when the train was attempting to spawn under lvl 10 nms. Following the train was one of the most boring things about the content.

    I had quite a bit of fun in the groups I was in doing this, and there wasn't any trolling to deal with.

    No thanks, I've tried chaining, and honestly it's more boring than anything else in this game. There's zero danger if you have an inch of common sense, by picking the right camp and having only one puller. It's just a long endurance test of how much you can tolerate tedium, but it's also active enough to tire you out fast.

    The thing about NM exp is that it's the one bit of content in which you're not penalized for basically existing within the same space as someone of a higher level, or another party. They'd have to vastly reduce the exp penalties across the board if they nerf NM exp.

We’ve all enjoyed the FATE train more than the chain-killing because we were getting things done faster (leveling, getting crystals, etc.), and I don’t really think there’s anything wrong with that.

    I don’t think an “intended way of play” should be forced on the playerbase. Because not everyone enjoys chain-killing things, or “leveling slowly”. Even with the FATE train present, there are still small groups of people doing it “the intended way” in every instance I have been in—I’ve seen many shouts advertising “Chain EXP group LFM” and “LFG Chain EXP”. And that’s fine. But let people play the content the way they want to, rather than trying to force one way or the other. FATE train is faster, and people enjoy the fastness, so why take that away from them? I’m sorry, I just don’t understand the reasoning behind it. If they made leveling in Eureka so tedious via all available routes (chain EXP parties and the FATE train), I don’t think I would even bother with it. I don’t have much time to play when I’m in school, and I like to get in and get things done quickly. That’s why the FATE train appeals to me, and chain-parties don’t...aside from the fact that I find the latter boring.

    This as well. They’d also have to address kill-stealing, because that was the most annoying part I experienced on Day 1: my friends would have our camp, and the minute people started coming in and killing the same things we were already pulling, we started getting next to nothing in terms of EXP. That just made the grind all the more tedious, and all the more worse for us.
