    Is gearing up worth it ?

    Hey everyone,

    so i'm finally leveling up my crafters and i'm item level 290 fully melded.. since i have no trouble making anything at all ( i dont have master book 4 and up yet) i was wondering if gearing up is useful now, the coming patch is gonna be a crafter patch right ? so i assume we are getting new gear etc.. so maybe it's better to wait and go all out in next patch ?

    please share some thoughts with me !

    Current speculation is we will not be getting new armor this next patch but may get accessories both crafted and scrip.

    I think there will be new gatherable items in 4.4 and that will be when we get new armor.

    You'll likely need full i320 if you intend on crafting the new DoH gear yourself, due to the stat requirements it'll have.

    Not really sure where this speculation is coming from, since 4.4 will be adding the next set of crafted DoW/M gear (4-star recipes), along with a new stat requirement to reach to craft those.
    If they only add new accessories in 4.3, they won't be able to do a significant increase in stats for the 4-star recipe requirement.

    SE has been handling new DoH/L sets in mostly the same way, ever since the patch that added the Ironworks DoH/L set:

    3.3 (Ironworks) -> 3.4 (Alexander Savage / new DoW/M sets)
    4.0 (i290 DoH)/4.01 (yellow scrips) -> 4.05 (Deltascape Savage)
    4.1 (Ala Mhigan) -> 4.2 (Sigmascape Savage / new DoW/M sets)

    The general pattern here is that SE gives crafters enough time to prepare themselves to craft the new DoW/M sets when those see the most use, at the start of a new Savage raid.

    or maybe we have gear enough and what they decide to do is make the recipes a degree harder by requring a very well thought out rotation that uses more of the exsisting skills, like rumination and brands and what not.

    not saying this will happen but stat increase isnt they only way they can accomplish the goal of making new recipes. especially since the exsisting rotations work so well that if it was just a stat boost requirement then we would already know how to make them.

    but of ourse SE likes thier patterns and so no doubt it will be just a stat increase requirement
