    Crafting Rotations

I know, that the crafting macros are a hot topic always,
But without a macro, does anyone have pointers to good information about rotations, rather then macros?

Since it seems like without macros it should be easier to HQ things if situation allows for it(good/excellent quality and whatnot).

If it has been answered before, just link it here, please. I was not able to find it.
Also looking for end game crafts rotation, not general rotation

Everyone who manually crafts does their own modification of Rath’s Rotation, or some Muscle Memory rotation.

Rath’s, while very long and drawn out, is also exceedingly powerful and can accomplish any starred craft at minimum Craft/Control. Muscle Memory rotations require heftier stats but are a LOT shorter.

Macros, of course, are for those who have the stats to muscle through regardless of Condition and generally use Muscle Memory rotations because they are that much shorter (no point in having a 6 or 8 button Macro).

You can find examples of those rotations, Rath’s and MuMe, if you look for them. They’re not hard to find. The trick is modifying them to best suit your stats.

Chapter 59 to 61 may help

If you need a more explicit demonstration of "Rath's Rotation" in manual crafting, I have this created back in 2015:
    http://ffxivrealm.com/guides/a-step-...e-tsukino.176/

The same Rath's Rotation can be easily modified and be used for level 70 1 and 2 star recipes.

My Ala Mhigan Rotation from NQ and 3 star from NQ 100% rotations

Caime that is an extremely good guide, and I love your quote as its true! :-)

I am going to Share a couple of my rotations I made these myself with the calculator to tweak them :-)

sorry, the screenshots are not the best :P

They are full NQ mat rotations for Ala Mhigan gear and 3 stars, which I use mainly as my non-specialists.

Ala Mhigan full NQ my stats are 1583 control, 1560 craftsmanship, 471 CP, I use HQ tempura and HQ cunning tea to boost CP to 553 to avoid a bad build with flawless synthesis.

requires 1 TOT. hence the extra 20 CP:- Use during Flawless Build

See the rotation below on the calculator.

the 3 star one is exactly the same just you need to get 3 tricks of the trade and have around 1548 and 538 cp control to pull it off.

Requires 3 tots Hence the 60 extra cp. Use during Flawless Build when CZ is up only.

Thanks so much for the compliments!

For your rotations here, I feel like there are a few minor issues...
    (1) The stats requirements are too harsh... 1583 control is over the top... I have doubts whether it's even achievable with overmelds if you're using Tempura. You're gonna have to overmeld your heart out on your mainhand and offhand. Especially that you designed this Ala Mhigan rotation for non-specialist, which lacks the soul stone. So that means even less stats are available. For me, I have pentamelded all my gear (except tools), and my non-specialist classes have only 1428 control.

    (2) You didn't have much room during the FS spam phase for Trick of Trades.

As you can see after the 5th CZ, CP gets pretty close to max. If you take 2 Tricks, it may hit over max CP, and the CP would be wasted. I'd suggest spending some CP earlier, so that you have more room for taking Trick of Trades. Also a minor issue, but you could move the 2nd CZ 1 step up.

    (3) The best location to take ToTs is during the FS spam phase, but you cut the progress so close (for the 3 star rotation) that if you take 3 to 4 ToTs, you may not have enough progress made from the FS's. You may also need to prepare for a few FS failures.

    Thanks for replying Caime.

Yeah, those rotations are based on my current melds and are designed for the very high end. I melded differently to almost everybody. I leaned more towards the control, than craftsmanship. there is no over-melded vis.

Anyways those the same rotations work with lower stats, you just need to use few Hq 4/6k start and you will always hit 100% mats and skip the buffed prudent and swap the last prudent with a focused touch.

In other words, it will be IQ stack 6, SH 2, Prudent Touch, Ing 2, Prudent touch, Prudent Touch, prudent Touch, Observe, Focused Synthesis.
then finish would be, GS, INO, ING 2, BB, leaving 3 touches under ing 2, which is lot safer f you have low craftsmanship. This how I did my 290-325 jump :-)

PS I am from Odin btw, my youtube if anyone wants to ask me questions on rotations I stream as endgame crafter :-)

Ah I see, so you have a variant ending for the rotation to help out with progress. It's great to see people being able to modify rotations on the spot. To me, that contributes a lot to the crafting fun

Caimie's rotations are great. They're what I would look to for manual rotation guidance.
