    Gath thinks this is a game, it should be fun!

    Hokay, Gath has come to a conclusion. Not only does Gath's 1 gil worth more than your 1 gil, but Gath thinks that the gathering (excluding the crafts.) should be a bit less tedious. Gath really thinks other things should be implemented besides taking several minutes per node.

    Gath's idea would make it easier for botters or RMT, yes, but those are two inevitable things that occur in every MMO.

    Gath thinks that you should just go to a node and click it. Once you click it you get a menu. In this menu there should be a list of obtainable items from the node and the percentage of success of getting the item. If you fail, you go to the next node, if you win you get the item and go to the next node.

    Doing this would make the game less of a chore or job in the sense of gathering. Where the actual "work" in an MMO should be is in end game content. Don't be mistaken, this stuff we have been doing is mid game content.

    Now that Gath is done typing for all his fans and is done being better, Gath takes his leaves and allows everybody to ponder on Gath's idea.

    Oh, and as much as I know all you fans of Gath want to talk about Gath, please keep this on topic.

    Suggestions are very welcome to Gath's topic.

    i appreciate SE for trying to spice up gathering with these mini games of sorts, however i would agree they are extremely tedious..

    Gath needs to grow up. Stop talking/typing like an AADD toddler. Post like these make a joke of this forum and SE should delete them.

    Gath appreciates his fans input, but, please keep on topic so Gath can be pleased.

    Gath also did not know that he had African American Disposition Disorder.

    Gath's 1 gil is worth more than your 1 gil.

    p.s to keep this on topic, the amount of that certain item you obtain should depend on the difference in level. If you're way above what the item is it should produce a larger quantity.

    We already have a hefty influx of raw materials. I don't think we need to make it any easier.

    Personally, I think your suggestion sounds more boring than what we already have.

    Someone forgot to get a sense of humor on their way to growing up...

    I do think gathering should be streamlined. It's a chore at best in its current state.

    What I dislike is that one path of grass or one tree gives MULTITUDE of different items! It makes it extremely annoying to gather one mat you may truly want.

    I actually find the DoL classes to be rather enjoyable and relaxing. Its the DoH I find frustratingly tedious and unfun. Heh...

    It really cannot get more boring than it already is, if I want a certain amount of one material i should be able to go out and get it then continue doing the fun things that i want to do. A larger influx may occur but there are fixes to that. Like make it so the node vanishes after a single person gathers from it. This would remedy it and cause a little bit of competition, which is what we need.

    Doing chores should get me paid, not pay for doing them. I agree with you.
