Heck no. I would not give this up to them, and I would probably leave the FC to boot. If someone that I barely have any interaction with asks me to give up my home that I spent my own time and effort on obtaining, they can piss right off. There is also no guarantee you'd be able to get the smaller house as you have to wait on that cool-down timer. I'm assuming they would transfer first into yours (which bypasses the cooldown), but then you'd be out of luck.

That is incredibly tacky for them to even suggest that. And greedy. And guilt-trippy. I really hope you're not considering the trade.

Blacklist them and leave the FC. If they attempt to then use alts to reach you, report them for harassment. That's what I suggest. Don't give them ANY chance to negotiate.

Far better to do that then losing your house.

Easier to replace gil and mats...in most cases....as opposed to a large house...but honestly..I'd ditch the FC...respectfully/cleanly mind you.

From you even bringing this here sounds like you actually took it into consideration, well you sound like a nice generous person, I would personally advise you just get out of there before somebody uses you.

The behaviour of the authority there is extremely selfish. You said yourself the fc leader barely interacted with you and when he found out you have something he wants, he borderline demands you to seriously consider giving it to him. You were of little interest to him until he thought he could find an easy way to get a mansion.

The actions and words of those people make it clear they do not have the health and happiness of the fc as a priority. If they did they never would have considered making you uncomfortable or feel guilty about having a mansion. They don't care about your well being. They care about getting your mansion.

Their arguments for needing a mansion are weak at best. The fc has less than 8 active players but they're cramped in a medium? That's utter crap. My fc has around 20 active individuals and not once have we felt that the medium house we have is too small.

Leave. They are toxic and are trying to take advantage of any kindness you have.

Oh, I fully agree and think the reasoning is rather poor but I still don't think they were being guilt trippy or offensive as people make it out to be. (i sound like the devil's advocate here and maybe they are going to be persistent and annoying later, who knows! lol). But yes, it's a bit bold to ask someone to give their large like that but I see no harm in asking and respecting the answer.

I wouldn’t give up anything I worked for in this game at the request of someone else, regardless of who it is/was. You shouldn’t have to either. This is why I have my own FC with my family and wife, and my main is elsewhere.

I agree with the people that say to leave the FC. Just from the fact that it disturbed you enough to bring it up on two separate sites, you aren't comfortable with it, move on.
