    Recommencing Version Update Error

    Upon attempting to login, I received a "recommencing version update" prompt, and a 26,000+ MB patch is now downloading. I noticed that this issue is similar to the one described here, but I am using the latest PS4 system software, and I did not shut down my PS4 improperly upon my last logoff. Would someone please be able to look into this issue? Thank you.

    Yes, this does look a lot like the issue that PS4 players had last year. Unfortunately, there isn't a way around it at this point. You will need to download the game again.

    How exactly did you shut off the game last time? Was there any change to your PS4 between the last time you played and this time?
