WoW hasn't had teams in years, for a pretty good reason. In addition; LP isn't taken seriously by Sqeenix, just look what happened the last time we had it. The competition isn't there to justify premade party based rated pvp.
If it's "dumb" or not depends on the what you measure, and that is not my argument, strictly speaking. Having a premade-team ranked system makes a lot more sense.
Team play not sustainable? In this game for sure. I don't think anyone argues otherwise. I'm pretty confident it would pretty much kill feast.Really, nothing of what you've argued overall has made sense so far and at this point I think my "dumb" evaluation was too generous. You argue to have premade team queues, but you admit it's unfeasible by saying it will kill the game mode? How does this make "a lot of sense"?
You argue to delete Feast because you "don't feel the real competition" and are frustrated at it as a "competitive milestone". How are these even equivalent? Maybe you could have a really bad (opinion-based) argument for deleting the top 100 ladder, but having this as an argument to delete the queue entirely? That's not sensible either.
Just say how you really feel. It's not about the competitiveness or having premade team queues; those are just excuses. This entire thread is because you don't enjoy the Feast game mode, and you think that's a good enough justification to create this entire thread and argue for devs to divert resources away from small scale PvP to large scale PvP:
Yikes... Apparently I've committed some sort of blasphemy here lol.
Nothing makes sense? sigh... Then please stop highlighting as a quote-miner.
"Having a premade-team ranked system makes a lot more sense." <- Imo, and I believe there are several arguments to be had to support this opinion. You can't seriously deny that.
"I'm pretty confident it would pretty much kill feast." <- Can be true at the same time.
Stating something is preferable but not practical is not an error in sense-making.
It's like saying you would probably enjoy eating the world's most expensive cake makes no sense because you can't afford it. It's not an argument for you wanting to buy that cake.
"How are these even equivalent?"
They are not.
We don't disagree on any logical points here and I don't hide the fact I would prefer SE developing large scale PvP only; I've blatantly stated it. But I'm no nazi about it. If you enjoy the feast, then I'm glad.![]()

big facts geek it's a gg
