Oh no! We lost! Let me go hop on my alt on this other server that I created solely to lambaste the other players because they are all clearly inept and couldn't tank/heal/dps their way out of a wet paper bag!
Oh, and after I get my say in, I've got to hurry up and log off because I can dish it out but I sure can't take it.
You know, when you do this, it reflects more poorly on you than any built up angst or issues you have against another player.
People are only human.
Sometimes we mess up and we realize it, but can't tell you (thanks, quick chat!).
Sometimes (ok, all the time) we can't heal/cover through walls and get marked with NO because you died behind said wall.
Sometimes EVERYONE is shouting who to attack and changing the target every 10 seconds so that a burst is split and does nothing.
Or any other number of things happen in a match. Some are within our control, some aren't. It's life. One team is going to be defeated.
If someone is new, or on a different class than you usually see them, don't just get all triggered and tilted and salty to the point where you have to go log off, log into their server, have your say in and go all REEEEEE on them.
Sure, it might feel cathartic to go and get that rant out, but all you're doing is dissuading that person from trying the feast or trying a different class. And I mean, do you REALLY want to play with the same people match after match?
I feel like less and less people are playing Feast because some people can't handle losing. When you log onto that alt and blast someone and then log off before they can reply, it shows that you are nothing but an immature coward and a sore loser.
I've had many teammates in my matches reach out to me and tell me how to improve. They've given me macros, helped me strategize and generally been very positive in their feedback. That's extremely helpful to me.
What isn't helpful is when people jump on an alt created solely for the purpose of dissuading others from playing and then fuss and fume like a 3 year old throwing a tantrum.
When you do this (to me, anyway), not only do you get blacklisted, but you also get reported, so ask yourself before you log off - is it really worth it?
