Stop being such a sore loser

Oh no! We lost! Let me go hop on my alt on this other server that I created solely to lambaste the other players because they are all clearly inept and couldn't tank/heal/dps their way out of a wet paper bag!

Oh, and after I get my say in, I've got to hurry up and log off because I can dish it out but I sure can't take it.

You know, when you do this, it reflects more poorly on you than any built up angst or issues you have against another player.

    People are only human.

Sometimes we mess up and we realize it, but can't tell you (thanks, quick chat!).

Sometimes (ok, all the time) we can't heal/cover through walls and get marked with NO because you died behind said wall.

Sometimes EVERYONE is shouting who to attack and changing the target every 10 seconds so that a burst is split and does nothing.

Or any other number of things happen in a match. Some are within our control, some aren't. It's life. One team is going to be defeated.

If someone is new, or on a different class than you usually see them, don't just get all triggered and tilted and salty to the point where you have to go log off, log into their server, have your say in and go all REEEEEE on them.

Sure, it might feel cathartic to go and get that rant out, but all you're doing is dissuading that person from trying the feast or trying a different class. And I mean, do you REALLY want to play with the same people match after match?

I feel like less and less people are playing Feast because some people can't handle losing. When you log onto that alt and blast someone and then log off before they can reply, it shows that you are nothing but an immature coward and a sore loser.

I've had many teammates in my matches reach out to me and tell me how to improve. They've given me macros, helped me strategize and generally been very positive in their feedback. That's extremely helpful to me.

What isn't helpful is when people jump on an alt created solely for the purpose of dissuading others from playing and then fuss and fume like a 3 year old throwing a tantrum.

When you do this (to me, anyway), not only do you get blacklisted, but you also get reported, so ask yourself before you log off - is it really worth it?

Fair play to you - I have no idea how you can endure PVP in this game. You're either a saint or mad.

I don't think players realize this at all, but it's just a game. A match is not a life and death situation. Lol.

I started this game in September of last year. I haven't touched PvP, and I don't ever intend to. The PvP reward mounts look pretty cool, but from all the terrible things I've heard about Feast, it's not worth it at all.

Feast is really all about communication (and in its current iteration, who can mash buttons the fastest).

The lack of chat puts another layer of difficulty on top of what is already a high risk/high reward situation. I like competitiveness. What I like even better though, is improving my abilities as a character -- be that in pvp or pve. I don't raid savage because my schedule isn't consistent but if it were, I definitely would, because I like the aspect of a team working together toward a goal.

Feast does not give you that feeling (at least, not solo ranked).

I really think the problems people have with Feast all started when they threw in exclusive, limited rewards to encourage more people to play it. Instead, it had the opposite effect.

For every kind, helpful and encouraging teammate you got, you got five others who were raging, toxic, elitist punks. Who wants to spin the roulette wheel when the odds are like that?

They really should've left it at titles and trophies. I'd still participate even then but I wonder who else would.

Do you even care at people ranting on you? It's just as bad as what they do. If you're a good player, but ppl still trash talk you, ignore. Lol.

By the end of the day, those who are really good or at least consistently good will easily climb, and those who don't will get stuck in certain ranks.

And for those who are new to the game and reluctant to try pvp, I encourage you to try. Go to the wolf pups den discord and see the guides there, ask around for advice, and play. Try it out. Don't go with what ppl say. Not all pvp players are assholes, but keep in mind it's a competitive mode and losing sometimes can be quite frustrating.

Welcome to PvP in a nutshell, either winning team usually gloats and acts like they're the gods of PvP or the losers trash talk the winners...I can't say I remember a time when this didn't happen, back in the days of the arcades, people would get pissed for someone beating their highscore and take it out on them, or getting beat in a fighting game and call them cheaters or whatever.

Pretty much this. PvP attracts this sort of behaviour sadly, a lot of people can't handle a competitive mode without going crazy and frustrated when they lose.

Personally? I couldn't care less. They might as well yell at a wall. If someone has constructive criticism -- like "when you're being targeted, you should do X next time" or "when you're going to burst, do Y instead", I am all ears. But I am also still learning, so I will mess up sometimes, as we all do.

And yeah, I get that it's competitive and people get frustrated. Even I get frustrated and yell at the characters on the screen sometimes. I'm not saying you can't feel angry. I'm saying it makes you look like a complete imbecile when you're so frustrated, you feel the need to:

    1) log off your server
    2) log onto someone else's, on a character you solely created just so you could rant at them after a feast match
    3) fuss and fume and stomp your feet like a belligerent toddler, and
    4) then log off before the recipient of your rage has even managed to read your wall of expletives

I mean seriously, all that does is make you look like a petulant knob.

I also want to chime in and add that Wolf Pups Den has been by far the most supportive, kind and helpful network of PVP players I've had the fortune of playing with.
