    A small gripe about Eureka.

I finally got around to unlocking Eureka this morning. I wasn't wanting to do much yet so I wasn't looking for a party or anything. I just stepped outside and wanted to seen how hard the monsters actually were.

I found a level 1 squib and started fighting it. I'm a Paladin and my dps has never been that great but my materia was slotted as lightning and I was whittling it down. I got it down to it 15% and put of nowhere someone swept by and killed it with one ability.

Now everywhere else in this game that isn't a big deal. It's actually encouraged to help people out like that and a small part of this games draw for me is that system. However it appears in Eureka this isn't the case. I didn't receive any xp for that kill.

I fought a second one and managed to kill it for a meager 50 xp which is fine. I knew it was going to be a grind when I started. Then when fighting a 3rd one the same thing happened. Someone got the last hit and I got no xp.

I don't know if I was being trolled or if people were just reacting the way the game trains is to act. Either way it really soured me to the whole experience. I plan on grouping in the future but this seems like an oversight on someone's part.

They brought back large scale mob training and bashing from the korean MMO grave, so ofc kill steal is back as well.

More seriously, I don't know if they were trolling, I think they saw you struggling, let you hit it a good chunk to have most of the damage, expected you to get exp.

Unfortunately that's not how it works. I realized that while helping a group of friends. While being outside of team, I was only flashing after they tagged to get hate without doing any damage, and once I had to stun a mob halfway through, which began the autos. So Second half of the mob he was getting 4k autos from me, but their group DPS was two to 3 times as much so I figured ok no problem. Alas, they didn't get anything.

Just because a 20 outside of team hit the mob, without tag, while the team did 90% of the mob's life, yet the team doesn't get anything ? Boy that's one hell of the MANY flaws of Eureka. It's like there's a referee shouting "Foul ! he drew his sword once I saw him. Everyone, lose 40 seconds of your time please"

Sounds like a griefer's paradise. What fail on SE's part...As far as so called "helping", I took my L-60 BLM out for a spin to do some hunts today. I was killing a hunt mob-L 63, I had 3/4 health and the mob was almost dead. This Dbag runs by and has to hit it. Leave people alone fer chrissakes! Hitting my mob to dead in 1 shot does not a big epeen make.
