    run/walk toggle on gamepad(ps4)

I am trying to find out how to toggle between walk/run on ps4 using the game pad and cant find out how to do so. I am like trying to add it to L1 but i am having problems doing so. I go into keybinds and it does not work? Is there any to add it to the cross hotbar?

If you have a keyboard hooked up you can toggle it with (I believe) the Num Lock key. I can't guarantee that is the key for it, but I know there is one that does toggle it.

Not sure about setting it on the game pad though as I've never contemplated/looked into it before(and at work now, so can't check)

If I remember correctly, it's the "/" key on the number pad that toggles run/walk. (Will check later if I remember.) Num Lock just does its usual function of activating the number pad keys.

If you put Sprint into a macro in slot 99 of the macro board you can assign it to L3 or R3 on the ps4 controller.

I do this as well as a mount (first click run, second my chronicle mount). I then put the Sprint icon on a hot bar at the top near the time etc (although this part isn't necessary really).

we are not talking about sprint.

we are talking about walking (when you tip the left stick just a little bit and you move very slow) and running (when you push the left stick all the way down and move faster).

there is a function to reduce the move speed to walking, so when you push the left stick all the way down you will not start running, but still walk slowly.

problem is you can't activate this function with a controller. and i can't find a text command for this function. putting it in a macro and then on the L3 / R3 buttons would be a solution for this, and that's exactly the reason why i asked or the text command earlier.

but i think there is none :/

Probably the reason it's limited to keyboards is because keyboards don't have a "tilt analog stick slightly" feature.

yeah but it's really tiresome to hold the stick in that position for a longer time :/

especially while RPing i would like to be able to do longer walks with the slow speed without stressing my thumb.

start walking with the slow speed and then toggle auto-walk is a work around, but not a good one. especially since i removed auto-walk from my controller because as a tank it was leading to problems for me while running and toggling with L1 + Up and Down through the enemy list...

putting this function as a macro somewhere on my hotbar would be nice :O

I play using an Xbox controller, just hold down B then use the left analog stick to make your character walk. I believe if you use a ps4 controller you would hold down Circle.
