    Squadron AI "Improvements"

    Just wondering what the actual improvements were, tried running Brayflox longstop (a dungeon I never had any real issue running before as a tank) Died at both first and second boss. What changes to healers were made as to render them now useless? I even saw my healer using surecast on the second boss (what even...)

    Please fix it, I loved running with my squad before :<

    As they level up youc an actually change their behavior, if anything they need to adjust the comeand to move in closer and switch targets without aoeing others. Example Tomberry king; aoe on adds was a pain got to love LB.

    Orders do nothing to behavior. Offensive, Defensive, anything, all it does is change stats.

    Perhaps the AI change was improving Copperbell (Hard) so it wouldn't be so hard to get them down the elevator shaft?

    What Im ask8ng more here is what exactly was changed about their behaviour.
    Before 4.2, I had no issues with dungeons once I got the hang of the commands, but now the healer doesn't heal anywhere near enough for bosses, (smaller trash mobs are fine though) as opposed to getting through without much hassle pre 4.2

    I took my main through brayflox to get the cavalry set, and then tried another run. While we were killing the 3 mobs before the second boss (lizard with the second one joining chasing brayflox) the healer runs up the cliff near the 3 bugs, away from the group, casts cure on himself, draws aggro from them, then spams cure on himself (more than he dumpd on me entire dungeon) I honestly sat there stunned at what I was seeing until we wiped.

    The only thing I've seen is the healer not beign as trigger happy and waiting the tank to get to the mob before using aero 2 however that only works if he's not already in combat

    Oh yeah, that too! I kinda like that, where they wait a bit before attacking. Handy if you have an archer in party, they always drew initial aggro if you weren't the tank

    Yes but as I said it's only if they are not in combat else they keep doing it.
    Imho they should give us the possibility of changing their AI.

    I don't ask much even something like Tales of AI settings would be fine

    My healer seems fine. I just wish my archer and rog would aoe on packs instead of either nothing or a random deathblossom. I don't even think the pug and lancer aoe at all. Also not sure about the thm and yes they do like to use buffs randomly. I have dps on offensive, healer on balanced and my tank on defensive. I think the Gla was made to flash more which mine seemed to do, but now it feels like she's back to pre change.

    What I've personally noticed with the Squadronm AI is:

    - Tanks do seem better at grabbing aggro and keeping it. I've seen Paladin AI use Flash more often, and use it first... whereas they used to try and grab aggro with Ultimatum before, and hardly ever used flash.
    - Healers do not heal anywhere as aggressively as they used to. I used to see them casting heals the moment I (or the AI Tank) got to 80% health... now they seem to wait till I've gotten down to 30-40% health before starting to cast Cure II.
    - DPS do not focus on the target the tank attacks, unless you use the "Attack" squadron command. If there's 2 mobs and the tank attacks 1 (either me or the AI tank), they will always attack the other mob unless I order them to attack same mob as the tank. Usually only an issue if I'm the tank, as with AI tank I order attack by default, so they all attack same target).
    - AI do still tend to try and move out of AoE's, unless they are 'special' boss AoE's (like the Stone Vigil last boss' frost breath attack (where it's in the air)).
    - Do AI have AoE attacks? I know the Arcanist does sometimes use Shadow Flare, but that's the only AoE I've seen any AI Squaddie use.
    - Squadron can't use the lift in Copperbell (Hard). I still have to go solo down it, they respawn at the bottom if I walk far enough away and/or aggro the mobs nearby.
