Server transfer error - calamity salvage items

Trying to transfer to a local timezone server. Keep getting the below error. I've visited the salvager and try claiming items, but there's nothing to claim. Can't figure out what to do... Any help?

- This character still has items in the possesion of the calamity salvager (only applicable to characters transferred from Version 1.0).

Post a screenshot of what happens when you tell the salvager you're there to claim your items.

He just goes through dialogue text going on about how unfortunate it is people leave their stuff behind. There's no options available to claim anything. Then it escapes out of his menu and I have to right click him again to get the menu back up.

Do you have anything at an apartment or housing reclaim person?

I think it's the Resident Caretaker.
It's marked on the map.

Nope, nothing to claim. Still cant transfer. Is this related to me being a v1.0 player?

Getting very frustrated with this. Customer service was no help. they said post to the forum.

Have you tried reporting the issue in-game? I feel like a GM might be able to help more, or at least offer better perspective.
