    Incredibly slow download speed for this patch - is anyone else getting this?



    This is pretty insane. It's always been a bit slower than my usual download speed, but it's never, ever been this bad before. I know servers have only been up for a short time and it might be server congestion, but I've updated shortly after maintenance many times before without this problem. There's nothing else running on my network that would be impacting the download speed.

    Turning off Windows Antivirus fixed it, in case anyone else that gets this problem.

    Seem fairly normal every patch. Servers get slammed with all who try to download it.

    hmmm not really, just make sure nothing else is using a bandwidth and try to do it as early as possible not during heavy times. In some cases patches are available to download early as well.

    Did you try a modem and or router reboot? I downloaded it not to long ago and it took around 90 seconds to finish.

    OP already got this fixed (antivirus..*shakes fist*), but a 13+ hour download for a minor patch is most definitely not normal

    I was speaking in general terms, should've made it clear. Getting slow downloads right on dropped patch is fairly normal.
