The final boss still has to be Omega himself, wouldn't it? Unless they're trying to really break the formula this time. The only way I can think to make that work with the current pattern is for the last section to really be Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon themed though and that make people angry because its not VII at all.

Right, I forgot it's most likely going to be the final part. Yeah, it'd basically have to be Omega. What they do prior is anyone's guess. Could be something completely new or maybe an FF villain mashup. Really is hard to say.

They could do what they did in the first Coils and give us five fights instead of four, where Omega makes an appearance on the fifth raid instead of the fourth.

That's a good point. They could give us the strongest foes from various games. That would be kind of nifty, actually, and will be all the better received by people who haven't actually played those games but still know of the final bosses. Like, fighting Kefka was nifty for me but as I never really delved all that much into FFVI, a lot of that tier was lost on me. Still fun as heck, don't get me wrong.
