Omega specifically says 89. So if you do the math for ranked match, either there are 8, 4 or 2 ladders with one remainder. Delta(Δ) is "4", Sigma(Σ) is "200".

I also have a sneaking suspicion they are going to skip over 7 and go to 8. 8 never gets any love, and Omega was THE superboss of 8. Also, Omega weapon was never in FF7. He was in 5, 6 and 8 (among others), but if 5 is the starting point here, then the next one in succession would be 8.

this is true, but I only used the #'d titles as that is where they have pulled from for this so far.

Additionally, a curveball could be from one of ENIX's original franchises...
