    im sure somewhere is allready a thread with this but im to lazy to search.

    "Starting with patch 3.5, summoners will gain the ability to change their egi's appearance. The update includes glamours for Emerald Carbuncle, Topaz Carbuncle, and Ruby Carbuncle, with more scheduled for future patches."

    it more then a year now and many "future patches" are behind us. some info's would be nice.

    I wouldn’t hold your breath.
    Egi glamours was their reaction to people asking for carbuncle instead of Egi’s.
    I wouldn’t want to consider what content they ‘have to’ cut for more glamours to be added.

    I don't want to spoil anything but there are currently at least 2 unused egi glamours in the game. You're right though, we are overdue for more egi skins. I've been on edge for Ramuh egi ever since the SMN quests and I've only grown more fond of the idea of Bismark- and Shiva-Egi.

    YES. PLEASE.

    It'd be very nice indeed if a community rep' (or better yet, a developer) gave us some further info on their progress. Beyond the usual "we're working on it" response, I mean.

    And no, more Carbuncles aren't gonna cut it: proper Egis will, like Ramuh-Egi or Shiva-Egi.

    On a related note though, I'm also hoping they'll justify their existence through a side-quest or something, considering they kind of wrote themselves into a corner with the Lv.50-60 SMN quests (it wouldn't make sense if we could suddenly summon Ramuh-Egi after what was established then, for instance)...
