Dragoon long backflip in Feast. What triggers it?

It is not the same as Elusive Jump.

Sometimes when doing a burst, particularly after a jump, but not always, my dragoon will do a very long, broad-arcing backflip. There's no sound effect like there is with Elusive Jump. It doesn't always happen with the jump but seems to happen at random.

I was wondering if any dragoons who play Feast know what this is and what causes it. It made me backflip right into enemy territory last night and I just about punched a hole in the wall because it was absolutely unintentional. What's causing it?

Hmm. It's not a knockback like fluid aura does. Normal jump roots me back to where I started the jump, so that's fine. Elusive has that little animation and sound effect. This seems to happen at random when using two jumps in quick succession - but not always. I will try to record it in-game and post it here.

It could also be blank from a MCH which pushes you REALLLY far back

I was thinking about that last night. If both "blank" and one of my jumps occurred at the same time, it would draw me back that far (but in the air). I'm still trying to get a good clip of it just in case.
